TAKA Marylebone and Lalani & Co are collaborating to present to you a delicious tea experience for Marylebone Village's Food Festival!

Introducing Cold Brew Okumidori Kabusecha 2022, grown in the Kenta Family Garden in Kagoshima, Japan. Brewed at a precise 40'C, this single-varietal green tea, gives elegant and silky spring green notes with a beautiful umami finish. Ideally paired with our rich and flavoursome Toro Taku Hosmaki, new to TAKA's Rock n Rolls Menu, using Chutoro, Smoked Daikon and Spring Onion.

For all the Matcha lovers, we will also be presenting Lalani & Co's Nitro Matcha. Served over ice, Nitro Matchas are velvety and smooth with a nutty and cocoa buttery flavour profile; the perfect accompaniment to our new Matcha Cake - introduced to TAKA's Dessert Menu to welcome the spring season! With layers of Matcha Sponge and Hazelnut and Rhubarb Praline, served with over an Almond Crumble and White Chocolate Miso Ice-cream.

An unmissable and exciting exploration of Lalani & Co's delectable single batch Teas, alongside TAKA Marylebone's deliciously wholesome seasonal menu!

*Please note this event does not require a ticket, however we will be serving the dishes and teas as usual A La Carte items, and so to experience them will require a seat in the restaurant! We accept walk ins, but do encourage reservations to guarantee space.

Please check our website takalondon.com for reservations.

We look forward to having you dine with us!

Felt treated like 2nd class citizen for not being in main restaurant selecting form the full price menu. We did not feel welcomed and ushered outside to the rear of the restaurant where no seats or tables or pedestals were set up to put your glass or plate on. For the 'deal' we had, the wine was served in a small plastic glass and the tapas like items for us were both served to my partner on her plate whilst I waited for mine only to be told this. For the two vouchers I submitted for some rib eye turned out to be a small sliver served to my partner who consumed it thinking it was part of her 'package'. All in all it felt rushed and a bit of a side show for the restaurant manager(s). We duly departed and had a lovely Sunday roast at a nearby pub. Will not be returning to The Lurra anytime soon.
